This is an initial concept sketch for a logo for the Oklahoma City Turkey Trot Classic. The annual race is run on Thanksgiving Day (of course) and benefits the Eagle Ridge Institute. The design utilizes the eagle graphic from the Eagle Ridge logo and then custom text to mimic the brush stroke style. The overall oval shape lends itself well to being a shirt pocket imprint, an external back tag imprint, an embroidery design, an oval bumper sticker, etc.
