My son was turning 16 and my wife asked me to design an invitation for his party. I wanted to do something that was auto related and yet not overly “car”. I also wanted a fairly high design element and a lot of contrast and pop. Once I decided to use a tire track it just made sense to go with black on one side and white on the other and make the only color a red “16”.
