My 4th son wanted a logo. I have one, so why shouldn’t he? So I went through the process with him that I would go through with any client to determine what would represent him to the world. We talked about what he would use the logo for (mostly as a background on his iTouch) and settled on basketball as the most defining thing about his interests.
His initials are PGH. That wasn’t working for me so I tried the traditional “Last Initial in the Middle” monogram and something jumped out at me.
By adjusting the type and bending things around a little I managed to make his monogram look like a basketball. He was very excited about that and so his logo was born. We went a little further and did some photoshop work to create a screen for his iTouch that he really likes.
