Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image. Georges Seurat and Paul Signac developed the technique in 1886, branching from Impressionism. The term “Pointillism” was first coined by art critics in the late 1880s to ridicule the works of these artists, but now it is used to refer to a variety of artistic styles without any negative connotation.
I have always enjoyed pointillism and the associated art. I have played around with photoshop and several online resources to create lots of interesting effects. This is just one version. I filled the T3 logo with the posterized avatar I use online and then pixelated the image.
