2008 saw the 60th anniversary of Kimray Inc. One of the things the company did to mark the event was to have a special coffee roasted and packaged. I got to design the label!
Using an image of the valve that was produced for another project I went for a retro-modern look by combining text styles and placements; old fashioned script in retro placement with modern block in very regimented linear placements. The sunburst in two tones and gradients give the whole thing a very cool look.
