One day Mav and I were out running the Draper Lake Trails and we decided it would be a great place to hold a 24 hour race. As we talked while we ran we developed the idea to include 24 laps of 4+ miles (total of 100 miles) with each runner getting additional swag for every lap they complete.
as soon as I got home I came up with this logo for the race, which we named the Double Dirty Dozen.
Not long after that, Chisholm Duepree called and siad he wanted to put on a 24 Hour Road Race. After some discussion we decided to combine the two events into a weekend of 100 mile attempts on road and trail. We named the road race, 24 The Hard Way, and I developed this logo:
